Prince George city council approved $468,126 for a site on Third Avenue, where BC Housing plans to create a transitional housing facility with 44 units for up to 88 people.

The city has been pushing for this since spring 2023. While concerns were raised about costs during a council meeting, city staff assured that the capital project buffer is enough to cover expenses.
