The Investigation Place was one of three Canadian organizations to get funding from the Drax Foundation.
The local museum has been presented $80,000 to support education and skills growth in science, skill, engineering and math and support Local communities, upgrade green spaces and improve biodiversity.
The Drax Group has a strong attendance in the north with offices in Prince George and pellet plants and other facilities in Burns Lake, Smithers, Houston, Prince Rupert, and Williams Lake.
Other Canadian jobs to get a chunk of funding included Scientists in School and Connected North.
