The 47th Father’s Day Cruisin’ Classics Show and Shine attract members of the community.

The community turned out once more to take part in a Prince George Father’s Day tradition despite a little bit of rain.

On Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the south end of Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park hosted the 47th Father’s Day Cruisin’ Classics Show and Shine.

There was no admission fee for spectators, and anyone could enter the event for $15 per vehicle.

Approximately 400 vintage cars took part in the annual Show & Shine.

Every year, thousands of people attend the event, which attracted 360 entries in its first year back at the park.

In the previous two years, the COVID epidemic transformed Show and Shine into a parade that started from a staging area in the parking lot of the CN Centre and proceeded through Prince George’s streets.

Subaru of Prince George, Western Financial, and Chieftain Auto Parts are the event’s sponsors for this year.
